Colored nylon cable ties

Colored nylon cable ties are special clips useful for tying together various components, such as electrical wires. They are also identified as cable ties, electrician's ties, cable clamps or wiring ties. They feature a cable of various lengths and a pierced head into which the cable is passed so as to make a loop of the desired size. The extra part later can be cut off. The cable has little teeth that, when slid through the slot, get caught in the head.

Features of colored nylon cable ties

Standard cable ties are self-blocking clips composed of one piece. They are disposable and can meet fastening requirements ranging from 14 to 360 mm in diameter and tension resistance from 8 kg up to 144 kg. Although they are designed to be used only once, there is a method to be able to open and employ them again. With something very fine and thin, for example, a pin, which one needs to insert into the head, into the interlocking mechanism, press downward and slide the cable out. This process, of course, does not ensure proper operation as it could equally break and deteriorate. In case you need a longer cable than you have, simply join two or more clamps together by wedging the tail of one into the head of the other.
